During a studio workshop that explored the visualisation of complex information, I plotted a timeline of my life in education and art and design education, however rather than plotting dates symbols were used to identify different events on the timeline, although initially dates were added to create a scale of the timeline, within the revised the timeline it features purely the symbols and the key which identifies the symbols.
To further develop this ideology of using symbolises to represent information and statistics, from a collection of research I gathered about Bad bad in dogs I visualised a series of statistics about this topic, using key symbols and use of outlined and filled in shapes to visualise quantity.
