The process in deconstructing my magazine article was to work out the grid system that was being used by the article, to do this I used my double page spread and a following page from the article as the as I initially created a 4 column grid but could see from looking at another page that the grid was actually a 12 column grid. (Seen Bellow) Having worked out the grid I measured all of the point sizes for the different type and also calculated the leading. I also established my hierarchy of type from headings, subheadings, intro body, captions, pull quotes and body copy.
